I don't know what's wrong with me today. This morning I got an email from a recruitment agency who keep spamming me. I'd already requested to be removed from their list, but they keep ignoring me. So I emailed them again and told them I'd be onto their ISP and have their account suspended if they spammed me again.

So just now I get a phonecall from a guy in their IT department who said he would 'consider' my request.... errrr.... say that again.... *consider*?

So, I launched into a rant and told him to get my name of his $#@& list, there is no 'consider' involved. And then he proceeded to ask me if my organisation was interested in recruitment. At which stage I flipped out, ranted a bit more, and hung up the phone.

And now I'm feeling guilty that I gave the guy such a hard time. I mean, he was probably told to make the call by his boss who didn't have the guts to call me himself. It's just stupid things like this that get me ranting.

Bro....don't feel guilty. Don't feel it in the slightest.

I've got suckered into giving my email up to a spammer and wound up getting dozens of phone calls and hundreds of emails.

I kid you not...this is war...it's way beyond ridiculous. It is not a valid or fair business model.

I get the same email a thousand times from different domains. It's all crap.

Frankly, I want to get a list of all the congressmen's email addresses. Go back to that site. And sign the all up. And laugh as they get all the heat.

*mwwwaaa haaaa haaa*

thats there plan to get you pissed. If you hang up pissed, they win. You should go to www.break.com and listen to the video called AOL Customer Service. Hold back, get your business taken care of and then go crazy.

By clicking the 'remove me from mailing list' or emailing them back, all you do is show that they are emailing a working email address and thus you will get MORE spam from other spammers. I learned LONG time ago, just delete the emails.

This morning I found out I won $1 million Euros in the Staats Loterij Awards in the Netherlands!!! I'll write more here later about stupid spammers, but first I have to send them all my personal information to redeem my prize money. :-)

That what I like about using Yahoo mail... I just report it as Spam and Yahoo takes care of it.

I don't think you overreacted at all. When he said they'd "consider" your request, he was giving you the brush-off. Your reaction was more than justified.
