Here are the odds at the Mirage sports book in LV for the top 10:
Ohio State 6.5 Michigan
U-S-C 6 California
Florida n/l W.Carolina
Notre Dame 29 Army
Rutgers 6.5 Cincinnati
Arkansas 15 Miss.State
West Virginia 10 Pittsburgh
Wisconsin 38 Buffalo
Louisville 16.5 S.Florida
Looks to me like the betters are making Florida, ND, Arkansas and Wisconsin locks in their games. Everything else is a tossup basically.

Speaking of this game, did you know that there are two tickets for

So this man is sitting at the bar and leans to the man next to him and says: "do you want to hear an Ohio State joke?"
The man next to him says: "I'm 6' 200# and from Ohio State. The man next to me is 6'2" 230 and he's from Ohio State. The man next to him is 6'5" 260 and he's from Ohio State. Do you still want to tell that Ohio State Joke?"

i can't believe he won't get to see this game. From the interviews i remember he loved this rivaly so much and he won't get to see the most important game in its history. very sad indeed.
Bo coached against his former mentor Woody Hayes for many years in this game and for those that don't realize how much hatred these teams have for one another here is a quote from hayes aobut not even buying gas in Michigan.
"It's because I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan. We'll coast and push this goddam car to the Ohio line before I give this state a nickel of my money!"

If I remember correctly, Woody Hayes and OSU were beating up on Michigan one year. OSU was up by several scores and after the last touchdown, game clearly over, Hayes went for 2 on the point after TD. When asked why he did this when OSU was comfortably ahead late in the game, Hayes replied, "I went for 2 because I couldn't go for 3."

I think that quote is pretty close or may have been something to the effect of they wouldn't let us go for 3. the score was something like 50-17 |
