I'm hurting on my last 3 entries.
I expected more from my reflections, and my B&W is on a pathetic 4.8 - and it doesn't deserve that!!! (ah, voters...)

Anyway, I think I've got a decent Headwear - will see...

I'm in for spots. I'm thinking it will do better than my black and white, which is now at 5.5

It seems we did improve our average score with this last round for the week 1, but not enough to beat the 3D, I'm afraid.

ALrighty, sadly, rules is rules, and they will not allow us to change our roster at this date. I had to ask.
So sorry crayon :( Let's hope Willagher returns, we need her! It is only the top 4 scores that count,tho...

Now the good news...are you sitting?

My Spots is at 6.75 :))

Don't worry, you'll get there.
I started with 3 fours. Now got 2 sixes...

Edit: and now a 7! keep coming, keep coming...

Good Luck overnight everyone!!

Even though we lost week 1, it wasn't a bad showing all around I don't think! Good job, all. It sounds like there are a couple decent scores in the works for week 2.

My B/W is at a 5.6075 with a shot I figured could hit a 6 easily, and my Spots is at a 5.9298 with a shot I put in just for kicks since I didn't think it would do much over 5! Go figure! I suppose I'll never figure out those crazy voters.

Well I have come plummeting down to earth since my opening spots score, but sitting at 5.9 so thats ok, it was a last minute thang..

My B&W is at 5.4, I figured it was a 5.5, so thats alright....

I really want to kick my scores up, I can't trash talk anyone like this! :))
Plus remember, we are only playing with 6 so we have to do even better. I have no doubt we will fare better. I know we have great potential, and gg3rd, our newbie gets better with Every challenge!

GOOooooooo Team!!

Who's in Postcard? I have a shot, but I'd like to reshoot, but its darn raining or dark all week :(
I am hoping for some sun tomorrow....postcard should be easy for me here.... nb. "should be"
11/17/2006 11:34:04 PM · #187
Well, my black/white is sitting around 5.6 and my spots is a pathetic 5.0.

I'm going to see if I can find anything decent for Postcard tomorrow, but I'm not exactly living in a place where anybody actually plans to visit! However, there is quite a bit of the "wild west/frontier" type stuff around here, so we'll see. I plan on entering perspective also. Clueless about birthyear...

Just entered for postcard. I've been gone all week and wasn't sure if I'd be able to do anything. Unfortunately I didn't enter an open challenge this week. My b&w still at 5.81. Looking forward to tonight.

Thats alright for BW,briantammy. And I appreciate you hanging in there with us despite your fancy new cam :)
I Am still at 5.5, but my spots is now at 6.1

I didnt get to reshoot postcard, but I did get a new puter and therefore upgraded to PS cs2, so at least I had fun re editing.
No idea what to expect!

Lorene and I are in for postcard. We both like 'em, so probably a 5.5 each. My B/W is about a 5.6, but my spots has gone up to a 6.05. Too bad HDR doesn't count...I'm at a 6.3. I'm interested to see that one at rollover!

I am anxious to see your HDR..I had a feeling that would be right up your alley.
I think I am gonna shoot Year You were born, because it has low numbers :)
We'll se...

But I am pooped tonight, I won't be up for roll over...I hope everyone is kind !

I'm so glad you guys are holding the fort this week, as my B&W sunk and my Headwear had better days... it's at 5.27 now.

I'm thinking on "The Year..." too, but that's tough - no wonder there are so few entries so far.

Lorene made the above prediction right after we uploaded.

Lorene: 5.54
Nathan: 5.58

Well my Spots is holding at around 6.1, and my postcard is sitting at 6.04...
I am not completely unhappy with that!

Hey!!
Everyone check out Nathans HDR shot, I think it is beautiful!

11/20/2006 03:36:08 PM · #195
Lookin' good, Rae-Ann! Thanks for the compliment on my HDR shot. Lorene and I were quite surprised by that one, as we both liked hers quite a bit better. Check it out!

Also a lovely shot from Lorene..but I think yours is more DPC friendly...less detail , more colour punch. Lorenes has lovely intricate detail in the foreground and the water...

My 2 cents :)
