There were some great entries in there and this thread has nothing negative to say about the winners. Let's see some of your favorites from the challenge that you thought would score better than they fared:

These were my 'underrated' images:
- 154th - 88th - 84th

don't think this one should have been under 5 at all.

Good one. I really liked that one as well. Reminds me of a similar abstract done in the Morning challenge that also was underrated.

I agree and had this as my absolute favourite - and apparently I'm not alone here. So how this could end up as 127th is beyond me...

Solely guessing here, but it may come off as too 'fake' for many viewers. Too get the colors that way would require a good amount of post processing (at least I think it would, as I'm no expert in that arena). It is an abstract take and very creative in my opinion. Unfortunately, sometimes can 'creatively' work themselves out of a popular vote. Just my take. I shoot the basics, but that doesn't mean I don't like a cool image like this. I hope to be able to do something like that someday.

It doesn't fit the mold with a whole bunch of tail lights. That's my guess anyway.

I really liked these two (and the red ribbon of course :) )

Thanks, Guðrún. We really had fun making that image.

I'm out of town this week, but if I am able to connect back into my home server tonight, I'll try to post some outtakes.

Most of the outtakes where that the lines of light had large gaps, or I accidently pointed the flashlight directly at the camera (a big "no-no").

You were robbed, and so was the other ShadowVengence. A real shame.

I hate these kind of threads. It's bad enough not to be rated but to find out you're not under rated either is pretty hard to take.

In this kind of challenge I look for the efforts that are put into the shot. Most of the top 10 got 6's and 7's from me...these all got 8-10 from me:
