I was standing on a chair to get an angle on a challenge shot when I leaned too far and the chair began to tip. I had the camera on a tripod, and it started to tip, too. It stayed up, but I bruised my side pretty good on the top of the chair as I kept the camera from falling. Ouch.
Hope you're feeling better, Judi.

I dropped a MF camera into the cooling pool at a nuclear power plant.
It'll be safe to use in another 1000 years or so. |

(((hugs)))) Ooooops, sorry Judy! Didn't mean to hug you so hard! Glad you are semi-ok, hope you're feeling better. ((gentle hugs))
Mine was only an almost. Taking photos at the local museum, they've got an old railroad track. Standing on the tracks taking pics of kids getting a ride on the jigger when someone tapped me hard on the shoulder....... 'lady, ya better move real quick, there's a train coming' OO!!! He weren't kidding and it weren't to far from me by that time! Steam train bearing down rapidly on me, tooting his horn frantically at that daft lady on the track!
Combination of total absorbtion in what I was doing, not the greatest hearing and ............ not going to stand on the tracks to take pics again. Was a bit too close! |
