Guys have any of you had problems getting RawShooter essentials 2006 to run ? I'm using a AMD processor and XP. I was using Rawshooter 5 with no problems until I had to rebuild my PC

I have RSP 2006 running on both my home desktop (WinXP SP2/Intel) and work laptop (IBM T42, WinXP SP2) with no issues.

Maybe I will have to try and find the 05 version and try that :)

What exactly is happening? It may be just a corrupt DLL so redownloading and reinstalling might fix it.

Colette I have uninstalled and reinstalled. When I try to run I get an error message "RawShooter has enencountered a problem and needs to close" It wont run at all. Sad days :( as I loved the old version and now I cant find anymore. Gotta run now Thanks back on line later

Also, was the previous version completely uninstalled before installing the new one?

i'll usually go to the program files directory and manually delete the folders left over after uninstalling - then re-boot as mentioned and re-install.

if the uninstall was corrupted the old version would still likely show under the add/remove programs window - even if it seems to have been uninstalled. if that's the case there are probably conflicitng entries in the registry - when you are trying to run the newer version.

No issues here either. Maybe you got a corrupted download? Try deleting everything on your computer having to do with RSE, then download it again. If that doesn't work, I can send you my downloaded RSE file to see if that's it.
