In my EXIF it's showing- Owner: unknown
Is there a way to permenatly put my name there?

Duh think I found the answer~~
There is software to do this on the CD that came with your 30D. It's the EOS Utility software, third item called "Camera settings/Remote shooting" should do it. |

You're going to need to tether your camera to a computer with a dedicated USB 2.0 interface cable (in the box). Use an adapter or set Auto Power to OFF (Menu) and ensure battery is fully charged during the operation. Don't touch any camera buttons or unplug until done.
