I have seen this somewhere within the forums, but my quick question about model releases. Do we need to get a release if we are at something that has actors and take a picture with them in it? Or is it mainly for people on the streets?

People on the streets are pretty much always fair game. If they are on public property you are free to photograph them and use those photographs for whatever purposes you wish.
(which is why girls gone wild is still in bussiness after having been sued a couple of times)
