Pretty self explanitory. How much are you charging an hour to photo? Do you include time for editing?

I charge by job, not by hour

I try at least to get $100 an hour...but most of the time I do it by job.

And yes that includes editing

I charge by the hour in my studio, starting at $100/hour; but charge by the job on location. And yes, my prices always include editing. I would never show a client unedited work, its my professional reputation at stake.

When I'm shooting photojournalism for the University, they pay me $25/hour. Not as much as I like, but the job usually only takes about 15 minutes, so I don't complain.

For portraits, I aim for a sitting fee of $50 and then prints.

Otherwise, I go by the job too. Factor in time on the scene, number of whatevers, number of shots, time processing. Then add travel and print expenses, and total it all up.

Depends on the job and image usage, but I start at $100/hour.

I do too. If you're getting paid by the hour, there's no incentive to get the job done quickly. Quite the opposite, your incentive is to make it last as long as possible to maximize your income.

Charging by the job allows you to reward yourself for being efficient.
