It's lucky you eventually specified 30D. I was thinking it was something else altogether!

Battery is almost charged! Work is almost done! I brought lenses and memory so I could try it out on my way home today. Will try to post some shots tonight!

It makes my XT look like a little toy though!!!

I did not like the 400D for that reason - too small for my hands. 300D feels much better. However, 30D feels better still.

Yeah, it'll be my back-up camera... lining up some weddings for after the first of the year... I'm shooting for some friends in April... Friend or not, I was terrified of shooting a wedding without a back-up camera (hence the 30D)...

At least that's how I justified it to my wife! ;-)

Well I got the Xt as a back-up /wife's camera as well.

Done one wedding. They loved the shots. Got one to do this weekend and I officially retire from them. I did not get into this hobby to have another job.

If you need a big new hard drive to put those photos on, CompUSA has a 1TB Maxstor external drive on sale for $479 USD, with a $50 rebate offer good until 11/10/06. It has FW800, FW400, and USB-2 connections.
