I've been kind of in the doledrums lately. Having a bit of a hard time feeling creative and sort of forcing myself to get out and shoot. I've entered a few challenges and a few weeks ago sent a couple of entries in to the Popular Photography 13th Annual Readers Photo Contest.. So in a blatant ploy to garner some good vibes I'd like to share an email message I just received:
I wanted to let you know that you are a finalist in the Popular Photography Contest and will have your image featured in the January issue. Unfortunately at this time I can not announce who won the category to protect the integrity of editorial content. I hope you understand and Congratulations!
Needless to say, my spirits are somewhat improved.
