Newbie 101 question-
I have looked through the FAQs, but could not find...
Can I post a photo dirctly into a gallery, or does it get there only via a challenge post?

I believe one needs a paid membership ($5 for 1 month or $25 for a year).
One may also enter an open challenge and those images will go to the selected gallery.
If you have web space elsewhere (such as PBase, SmugMug or your own web page) you can link to those images in the forums so we all can take a peek and make comments.
(Someone correct me if I'm wrong...been a member here too long to remember all the rules.) |

you are right my friend.
One needs a paid membership to post photos on this website in the galleries.

I think you're right KaDi - you have to be a paid member to get gallery space.

You can also use a site like Image Shack to post some photos.
Keep in mind that folks around here frown on large photos that are embedded into a forum message. Image Shack will automatically create a thumbnail for you to use in a message.
So, to use Image Shack to display a "clickable" thumbnail to the larger image, do this:
1) Upload your image to that site
2) Copy the link shown in the "Thumbnail for forums (1)" line.
3) Paste that link into a message here at DPC.
