Now that they seem to be here to stay, how about getting away from the roman numerals (you know that's gonna break down after a point Free Study XXXVIII...) and start calling them:

Free Study - Oct 06
Free Study - Nov 06

Or some other more descriptive version...

Good idea. But what happens in 2106? Some people will still be here. You'll have about 10,999 ribbons by then.

I hope by then we are allowed more than 640x640. After all, we'll have 3D, 6 GPixel cameras, and it might be hard to reduce to 640x640 without losing detail.

Just a light hearted reminder of the events leading to the "year 2000" problem ;)

In 2106, we don't take 2D flat photos anymore.
Cameras (today's term) will advance towards capturing 3D-holographic images in a realistic way, where when plugged to the output terminal, will enable the viewer to stand as-if in the spot where the photo was taken ;)
so the major question is, how do we submit it to DPC? hehe

I shouldn't be too bothered about it, since I wont live long enough to see it happen! LOL
