For those who save their entries (to DPC) as "progressive jpeg". Progressive JPEG allows further reduce of file size (in KB). I realize that progressive jpeg actually loads as a whole picture in some browser (or image renderers) as a low-quality image and as the image gets loaded, the full quality jpeg is only then shown. Do you think this has a chance that some voters did not wait for the full progressive jpeg to load and thus voted low for the "pixelated" image? How many of you save in this format? Curious

I would stick to the normal JPEG. They just look out of focus and are annoying to look at. They are a good concept. Best kept to bold logos On the web as opposed to detailed imagery. That said, googles web albums are displayed progressively. But I am not usually review dozens of photos all of the time.
