The newspaper called me today to do a portrait a local Supreme Court Justice for the local paper. He was just appointed to the FIFA ethics commitee.
Perfect assignment for me!!!
Anyways, the guy had a rare Louis Vuitton soccer ballfrom the '98 World Cup!!! He also had a match ball from Japan VS Yemen in the 2006 World Cup.
Very cool :)
edited to add that he also had a ball signed by Pele'! That was in a protective case, however!

So, you touched the judge's balls, eh? Did he let you play with them too? :D

I got to see him once at a tournament in Minnesota in the early 90's (or so). :)

I say majority rules. Football is the game with the 'round' ball. ;oP |

I knew that would get a rise :). Soccer is still the most boring of all the ball sports. I would watch bowling, golf, and ping pong, over soccer. |

Have you ever watched a world cup game? Maybe a Brazil x Argentina or Argentina x Holland or Italy x England? Definately not boring :)
But... it's a personal thing...i bet there are a lot of sports that are boring for other people that you'd find exciting...:) |

Soccer is better appreciated if you really understand the game. Not everyone can appreciate a great through ball or hitting the upper 90.

I am falling asleep just thinking about that 1-0 game. And what is up with being able to tie. Nobody wins with a tie. Why even play the game? |
