Hello!
I was trying to submit to both portrait in landscape and landscape in portrait - but it didn't work! why? can I only submit to one challenge at a time? I am a member oh dpc and I thought members can do both.:(
could someone please tell me what's wrong here?
thank you!

I've never really understood the Exclusive part of it. I mean, if you are a member, aren't you already in the Exclusive club that gets to submit entries?
I too was disappointed recently when I could not enter both the Oxymoron and Lighting challenges. But, I'll play be the rules. Would have liked to have gotten entries in both as I need all the critique I can get.

many challenges end up having many hundreds of entries. for example, both the landscape and portrait challenges will likely have over 300 entries each by rollover tonight. if we could enter into each, I think it would be safe to say that we'd see an additional 50-100 entries in each of those. so, I think the reason why we can only enter into one and not both is simply a measure to keep the overall number of entries in every challenge at a relatively modest number. |

In this instance, "exclusive" actually means: one or the other. |

I haven't thought about what Heathen said and I do agree now.

This thread explains the rationale behind the Exclusive Open challenges. To be honest, I don't like the name either. If anyone can come up with a better one that fits in the space available, I for one am open to suggestions.

Well, if we *really* wanted to get geeky, we could call them the XOR Open challenges ;-) |
