That was very painful but, I just went through this entire thread (64 pages) and wrote down the chain of words. I was curious to how many times a word had been used and found out there were several restarts (you probably didn't know that either) Anyway.... here is the succession of words. If you'd like to go again with 6 letters how about cookie or if you'd like to dare and try 7 letters maybe then cookies.

So I put the list of words into a word document... there are 973 words so far.
10/28/2006 10:36:42 PM · #1597
well after going through 64 pages of posts in this thread there were several (maybe about 8 or so) people who begged for someone to stop it... they were/are addicted and can't stop themselves from posting to it. Then if you look at the words in the 4 letter games you'll see a trend of repeating words quite often... fart kept getting used and bill followed kill at least twice. I don't know I'm addicted too and whoever starts the next one will probably get me started again too no matter how many letters there are.

No, sorry. I just copied your list and put it into MS word and ran the spellcheck. It gave me the number of words in the document. Oh, and I took out the headings you put in so it didn't mess up the count.
