Anyone here have the Cingular 8125 phone? I am looking to upgrade my phone and palm, and want to get just one device instead of two. I am torn between the Palm Treo and the Cingular 8125. I have read many reviews, and they are both pretty comparable. I do like the fact that the 8125 has built-in WiFi, but I also like a few small things about the Treo. For instance, the switch on top to go to vibrate comes in very handy.

So, first I have two questions that I am hoping to get answered. Second, I would just like some general input on the phones.

Now, the questions: 1. On the Cingular 8125 page, it says you can only match polyphonic ring tones up with caller-IDs. Is that true? Does it support the RingerIDs with MP3 tunes? That is extremely important to me. Second, why do all of the other companies offer a Treo 700 phone, and Cingular is still stuck on the Treo 650?

Thank you for your responses.

The 700 is only offered by Sprint and Verizon they have the exclusive right now. I have had the Treo 600 and now I have something very similar to the 8125 called the Qtek 9100. I love it. I like it better than the Treo and I love the wi-fi. The thing that really sold me on the 9100 was the slide out keyboard is just so comfy. Anyway that's my .02.

How do you like Windows Mobile compared to the Palm OS?

To be honest I like them both. The reason I like windows better is that it comes with pocket office and syncs so much better with my environment which is windows. I didn't have to buy any 3rd party software. It has media player in it and all the other creature comforts of windows like explorer and Outlook.
