I was driving home from a poker game, as I pulled up to my house, I say a few deer standing by the road. I pulled in my driveway and took out my camera. I shot these in almost complete darkness. I saw them a little when my flash went off.

The next day I loaded them on my computer to show my daughter and son, and when I looked closely I saw strange lights to the right. I increased the exposure and you can see them clearly. If it wasn't for the red eye (blue eye) I may have not even seen them there.

Here they are:

Anyone else have any red eyes that help the image?

I personally like the one with 4 eyes ;-)

I had to check it on the CRT as the laptop makes it look like one animal.

Pretty neat!

Pretty cool! Since your name is Tony, I decide to have some fun with "tony-mapping" in Photomatix Pro :-)

Good shooting angle on the one in front. I mean with a gun or bow. Not a camera. Used my doe tag up last weekend on a fat one.

I'm not a hunter, but at least now I can say I shot 6 deer in one shot.

I have taken several pictures of Deer this year but never have been able to get that close to them. All I see is eyes in my photos and when I up the levels to the point of seeing the actual deer I get way too much noise. Still waiting for that real close up op...

.

Did you have anything else with which to shoot them? (e.g. archery equipment)

Becasue I was at a poker game, I wasn't packing any heat. I've been down that road before. I did have an old Olympus 3040Z in the glovebox in case of an emergency.

I'm planning on using bait - to get them to come close. There are places where they are really used to human presence already so I can walk right up to them. But I hear salt licks work well as bait.
