Wanted to say, that "Suck", but didn't think it was good in a subject line. ;)

Need to vent. I need to make a collage type print for my daughters yearbook. We need it today, or by Friday at the latest.

Walmart. New "improved" website is worse than the last.

1) So I finish the collage and try to upload it to Walmart's 1 hour processing.

a) Stupid interface "looks" like drag and drop. But what it is is an active X or javascript control which is no more than a file open dialog. But ok, after mistepping and dropping to the "box", I use the file load button.

b) Seemed to have problems in firefox. Repeated in IE

c) Load the three presized images (1 4x6, 1 5x7, 1 8x10). Put it into the cart. They all go into the cart as 4x6. The cart shows me a picture, but not the file name. DOH. They are all the same picture, now I can't tell what size they are. #@#@#@#@~###!

d) I dump them from the cart (one at a time, as it allows), and load them one at a time into the cart by size, each time changing the order from default 4x6 to the appropriate size instead. Each time I put one in and say add more photos, it takes me back to the top of my album tree. S%$@#@#.

d) Shows me one hour prices. But no one hour option in the cart anymore. Call Walmart.com, it's a software glitch, will be fixed in a few minutes, maybe an hour. That was 4 hours ago. (And it wasn't working last night.) #$$##!#

2) Try Walgreens 1 hour, which is run by Snapfish. Hmmm, the same bad interface. Same glitches. They did manage to have higher prices for the same bad interface. But wait, I repeat the steps above, and go to check out. What, there's only one print, 4x6 in the cart? %$%@#@#@.

Just had to vent.

Ew... Glad I don't rely on Walmart, Walgreens, or Snapfish...

I don't know if you have a Motophoto around you but mine is excellent. But then again they're all independently owned... :0)
