Just so you know... "Happy Thoughts" was one of my top picks for the high contrast challenge.
Oh, since you are burying the camera anyway, can I have the two lenses? :)

I can't seem to get those last 5/100ths of a point. I was hoping to break 6, but everytime I hit 5.98 or so, one of those damn LVBs comes along.
* LVB = Low Voting Bastard. I know, everyone has the right to vote whatever they feel (and I wouldn't have it any other way) but this would be so much more fun if everyone gave me 10's.

Littlegett I looked at your portfolio and your most recent challenge was your lowest average (and above 3.4). It had 20 comments and you didn't find any of them helpful? If you want to bury the camera go for it but then you learn nothing..... I would think you would try to learn from the comments and keep learning. So you tried something different and not everyone liked it.... you still have some good pics in your folio.... so let it go and try again.... or just quit and if your heart really isn't in it.

I am happy with this score. It started a 7.4 and dropped as expected, but has been hovering around 6.2 which I am more than fine with! If it keeps up, I'll have a new personal best and finally a 6. My comments have been positive, constructive, and encouraging. I might even get a top 10-20 finish this time. :-) |
