So I went to Utah this weekend to watch a taping of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition". It was awesome. Problem was, the sun was in just the wrong place, so lots of my pictures are really washed out. Any ideas on how to fix them?

Oh, and in reference to my subject line -- I got through most of one day of taping before my battery died. Then I realized I forgot my battery charger. I went to three different stores, and none of them had a matching battery that was already charged or a battery charger. So I had to miss taking pictures on the day the family actually came home! The moral to this story is: when traveling, NEVER FORGET YOUR CHARGER! NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT!!!

So what piece of camera equipment do YOU never leave home without?

Note: I posted this originally in "Rant", then realized that Rants don't show up on the home page, and that maybe it really doesn't belong there anyway. Is there any way to get rid of the post in Rant??
