I listen to this one regularly on my MP3 player:
"Pigs (Three Different Ones)"
...from the "Animals" album.

Listening to this full blast, under the influence of several species of small furry substances, in the trunk of a friends car sneaking into the drive-in:
Aye an' a bit of Mackeral settler rack and ruin
ran it doon by the haim, 'ma place
well I slapped me and I slapped it doon in the side
and I cried, cried, cried.
The fear a fallen down taken never back the raize and then Craig Marion,
get out wi' ye Claymore out mi pocket a' ran doon, doon the middin stain
picking the fiery horde that was fallen around ma feet.
Never he cried, never shall it ye get me alive
ye rotten hound of the burnie crew. Well I snatched fer the blade O my
Claymore cut and thrust and I fell doon before him round his feet.
Aye! A roar he cried frae the bottom of his heart that I would nay fall
but as dead, dead as 'a can be by his feet; de ya ken?
...and the wind cried Mary. |

apparently, the shortest letter received by Rolling Stone Magazine was just after The Wall was released. It read: 'Syd is Pink'

Listen to The Final Cut with headphones on. Some parts are recorded in binaural and totally immerse you in sound. Headphones must be used for this effect.

How about this one:
Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and
Grooving With a Pict
I love Pink Floyd. I was lucky enough to see them in concert at the old Cleveland Stadium years ago...this as a challenge could be a lot of fun!! |

Gotta say it - I can't stand Final Cut. Never could. Sounds like a collection of Waters-only throwaways from The Wall. It doesn't make me stab pencils into my ears, but I don't think I've played it more than two or three times in decades.
Let's see your top 5:
1) Animals
2) Dark Side
3) The Wall
4) Meddle
5) Wish You Were Here |

Already did this one ;-) - 'Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day'.
But I'd be up for it again.

don't quote lyrics if you don't know the correct words! it's "Whoooah, whoaaah, oooh, ooh,ooh ooooooh, woooohoooowoaa, woaoa-wooooooooaaa, ooooh, ooooooh, ooooooh!"
