Having problems with my Sigma lens and wondering if anyone sent their's in for repair. What's the process and where did you sent it too?

Bigma wouldn't extend. Seems like there's maybe something wrong with the locking mechanism :(

When I had to send out a sigma lens, I called the number on their website to be sure of the address and to check how long it would take.. etc.

I needed it back in less than two weeks, and let them know that.. and they were VERY quick sending in sending it back. I guess it would depend on how serious the issue is though, also.

Interesting. The Bigma lens is not, after all, perfect.

A few weeks ago mine stopped AF at about 300mm out to 500mm. If I manually focus it will lock on, but won't do it by itself.

Guess I'd better call that handy number too. Thanks for the link, MrEd

Thanks for the info.

The zoom lock is definitely the problem. The zoom lock button came off as I was trying to collapse the zoom back into it's widest and smallest size. Looks like there should be 2 screws that hold the button in place from the inside and they seem to not be there anymore :(

Hopefully it doesn't take too long.
