Speaking of liberty -
Australia is passing some new laws regarding media ownership. There was a limit to the amount of newspapers, Television stations and newspapers one could own in one city (so there would be a balanced view - not just one persons).
That is now changing. What it effectively means is that one owner (read - one viewpoint ) can own all the media outlets in one place. Even down to being owned by a foreign company. Scary stuff !

Somehow this reeks of something I thought the (supposed democratic) free world saw as a fault with the tyrannical societies.
If a photo says a thousand words - will photographers be censored because our photos evoke emotions/feelings/questions that the owners don't agree with ?
