Why do people leave useless, rude comments? I'm all for constructive criticism, I enjoy learning from it. But, if you can't leave something helpful then I feel you shouldn't leave anything at all. I read comments on other photographers pictures in hopes of learning from it and some are just juvenile. If you don't like it, at least let me read why. Just venting...

The sad fact is that the world is full of assholes with a sense of entitlement. This is not a DPC problem. It's a people problem.
I for one have had it up to here with self-important discourteous pricks. |

Hehe, should have read this before I posted this - I would have included it in this thread instead.
Just something we all have to deal with, I suppose! Hopefully you,  piaffe529, have gotten much more good out of your experience here than bad. I definitely have, and it just makes all the bad things just not all that important. |

No offence, but could it be that you might have misjudged some of the people you have encountered so far in your life.
I seem to recall some very useful words of advice given to me when I was a young man, which, when translated into the prevailing vernacular went something like this:
"You seem to encounter a lot more assholes when you are working your way up the ladder"
Something to think about. :O)

Yup...you got that right. Somedays you wonder if it is all worth it. You ask yourself what you have done wrong to make people hate you...especially when they can't even give you a reason. But you know what...you keep going. Those discourteous p****s seem to make you strive harder...that push you so the gap between you and them is even wider.
So don't worry peoples...those P****s might harass you...but they aren't the ones that are getting higher up that ladder.

Of course there is always the "reciprocal asshole" law which states "For every person you encounter that you think is an asshole there are ten more that think that you are the asshole." |
