You may be aware of huffing, but have you heard of "dusting"? If not, read this.

Maybe everyone who read the thread went and tried it, and that's why they didn't post?
It sucks that people are dying from it, hopefully they'll make a new type of compressed air that doesn't kill you even if you breath it. |

the last time i purchased compressed air at WalMart, i noticed that when it was scanned, an ID was requested. hopefully, this will be something that is continued AND enforced.

| They did that to me when I wanted to buy lighter fluid and paint stripper, too. Not when I wanted to buy a lighter, since it was one of the 10 dollar mini Zippo's and not the bigger ones (it kind of sucks, too) |

| Thank you for posting this. I'd never heard of it and we hope to have our granddaughter come to live with us for a while. I have lots of computer equipment and compressed air on hand. It never occurred to me in my wildest dreams that this could be a problem. |

I used to read these and sort of think "sad but crazy" and move on. Now I have a wee boy of 6 months these sort of things scare me.

for those of you that have or will have children and are not educated about drugs and various highs you should be. kids that want to get high will find something and you need to be aware. as parents we will never know all the possible ways as this story confirms but i can tell you from experience that sometimes parents think they know but don't. did you know that drinking a bottle of robotussin can give you a high similar to acid(lsd) if you have never done drugs before do you know what acid looks like? did you know that it comes in forms other than paper? there are many things that you should know.
when i was younger and started doing drugs my mom thought she was smart because she knew about pot and could stop me from using it because she knew what it smelled like and looked like. truth is that i knew what she knew and used things she couldn't recognize. i would do stupid stuff like sniff but never liked it so i started LSD and robo.
If your children drink or do drugs it is not entirely your fault as people have free will but please do your best to know what your kids may be into and look for signs such as this man had in the empty cans.
