Whats the name of the photographer who shoots nature photos and does things like tear a bunch of leaves and then line them up so it looks like they're all torn through evenly or break rocks so they look the same way or find a bunch of rocks with white stripes and line them up evenly.

Or sometimes he makes a mound of stuff, leaves/sand and puts a hole right in the center.

Hes also made crazy ice sculptures that look kindof like sea-urchins...

I can't remember and its bugging me! I thought it was David something...

Any help is appreciated!

Here are some images by Andy Goldsworthy. He's an incredible environmental artist who has written and, with a crew, photographed several books. It was about a year ago that he also had a movie out that enjoyed a long run - at least in San Francisco. It may be around on DVD.

Beautiful,beautiful work.

I saw that DVD. There was something about what he did that I rubbed me the wrong way when I watch the DVD but now I can't remember. The stuff he would create is awesome though. I remember that much!

Yah, some good pictures on that google images link. I'm kindof surprised that he doesn't have much of a personal site, at least that I could find. I've got one of his photo books, the stuff he does is really freakin cool.
