Doe anyone know what program is used to zip files? I can not find anything... can I use winzip? or isthat strictly for Windows?

No program needed. Just right-click (or control-click) and choose "Create Archive..." from the pop-up menu.

Be aware that files created in this manner may not unstuff properly on non-Mac OS X computers, and that font files in such zip archives frequently get corrupted. I have had better success with the StuffIt program, available for both Mac and Windows.

I've also had problems with clients viewing PDF files using the Mac's Preview application -- I recommend using the actual Acrobat program ...

Stuffit can make zip files that open in Windows.

StuffIt can make and open almost any type of archive ... the application comes on both platforms (free evaluation copy available) and the Expander program (unstuffs almost any archive) is completely free on both platforms (maybe Linux too, by now).
