was more of an arts and craft fair but it was fun.
I sold 12 of the 30 pictures I took with me. My friend did about the same- he's done a lot of shows and festivals in the past.
Was a great experience and I think I'll be doing some more but looking for more of the artsy type shows then a festival like this one.
Really cool feeling knowing someone will have my work hanging in their house/office, wherever. Never thought I would see the day! |

pricing strategy- well you have to go with the crowd really- at least that's what we ended up doing. We had it worked out so all the framed pictures we'd sell for 45, all the matted 8x10's would be 25, and all the 5x7's 15. REALLY had to go down. Ended up selling the framed ones for 35, the 8x10's for 15 and the 5x7's for 10.
What sold? Flowers, seascapes, and waterfalls.
Here's what I sold
-funny nobody really liked this one and thought the focus was soft- which it was in areas, but it was the first one to go lol.
I had a few more but don't have them uploaded to dpc- actually had a lot more not on dpc. Had a series of the the schooner and sold all of them. |
