I've been a fan of Nick Brandt's photography for a couple of years and have his book, On This Earth, which is just beautiful. I went to an exhibition of his images last year and absolutely loved the quality of the larger sized prints - beautifully done.
He did a good interview in Lenswork magazine last year too...
I was talking to him about his work and it tickled me when he mentioned that, just like many of us, he's on a continuous learning curve in terms of post processing and he looks at some of his earlier prints and wants to grab them back and redo them and that even with his most successful ones he does sometimes go back to them and redo the post-processing again according to his latest preferences/ techniques!
Anyway... can I just recommend buying the book - it really is BEAUTIFUL!
After buying my signed copy I bought a second one from Amazon for my sister for Xmas last year and she loved it too!

| Woah! Thanks a ton for posting that link. those are some of the best photos I have EVER seen. makes me feel like such a crappy photographer. :*( lol |
