woke up at 7 a.m., drove 30 km to my doctor, got a physical, went to blood lab for test, went to parents, made me breakfast, slept for 2 hours, went to mall (yech), renewed my insurance sticker, drove north to my town, stopped at liquor store, bought beer, now enjoying beer.

It is 5-59am and I am awake (I think) with my first cuppa. I can just see the monitor...but I am listening to race goers still going home.

I slept. woke up. went to the bathroom. slept some more. my dog jumped on me. yelled at dog. petted dog. read a chapter. turned on computer. made cereal. at cereal at desk. finished editing my free study entry. read this post. posted this post.
But, hey...I'm sick so that's my excuse. Plus it's saturday... |

the clouds being in the exact same position kind of give you away. ;)
today I mowed half the back lawn (the half that desperately needed it) and killed half a bush so I could pile leaves there. Then my Internet connection came back up and I haven't done a blessed thing since.

Scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Went to Southern Sates and got 20 bags of lime, 2 bags of fertilizer and grass seeds.
Borrowed an aerator from my neighbor and aerated most of the lawn (an acre or so).
Applied all 20 bags of lime, 2 bags bags of fertilizer and grass seed manually using Scotts 3000.
Raked up the 2000+sq feet of bare soil.
Took a shower, and now looking at some photos.
I'll hate today tomorrow. Pedro, I could use your help with sod! LOL

2nd edit: Yeah yeah and now I click on that link. Nice work, looks like something from an architects book plan, but that was the intention right?
---------------------------
Got up at 10.
Shower.
Went to supermarket to get breakfast.
Ate breakfast at 12.00.
Stepped on my new , broke the engine in for the last bit and tried to learn how to back it in and make it powerslide.
Got back at five, ate dinner and went photo editing and am still doing that with a drinkie now at 23.00. Edit: I watched an episode of "Cold Case" inbetween.

Very nice edit Pedro. Like you said that would work well for the print size but any larger and the grass would look too fake. Which reminds me of an old bookmark I have in my favorites that might be of some interest to someone:

Got up at 5 am, got in the car at 6 am, drove for nearly two hours to do what we thought would be a 10K walk, but it was raining (yes, actually raining!) so they shortened it to 5K. Took some pictures - will have to see what I can do with very gray dull misty type pictures here in a bit. Had lunch (at 10:00, since that's when we got done with our walk.) Went to the mall with very, very wet shoes and muddy legs; got talked into buying WAY too much stuff at the Origins store by a beautiful young lady (pictoral evidence may follow - did a quick snap of her). Came home.
Called dad. Chatted for a bit. Took a shower. Started laundry. Called mom. Chatted for a bit. Read this thread and replied.
Now back to laundry and a bit of editing. Oh, and made coffee. Had two while out earlier. |

Man Pedro, and here I was feeling all warm and fuzzy inside 'cause I thought you had gone all "Habitat for Humanity" on us. :) The church looks good though, no matter how the means.
As for me, at 7:00am was jolted awake by a little head next to my bed asking for breakfast, got up, poured some cereal and a glass of OJ, turned on Cartoons and went back to bed until the other little one woke up around 8:30 and did it all over again for him. Threw in some laundry and ate a bagel. Waited for Daddy to wake up then we all went out for Mexican food. Yum! Afterwards we all went to the park, played on the playground, hiked on the trails, threw some rocks in a pond and came home. Put littlest one down for a nap and took the oldest one to the grocery store, came home, carried in all the groceries and put them all away the gave some grapes to the oldest one. Now I'm sitting here for a minute while I comtemplate cleaning up the house a bit. I have a photoshoot scheduled tomorrow and the models and make-up artist are meeting here to do the make-up before we head out to the location. Which means "toy pick up time" for me. :)
And Majanka, your post just reminded me that I forgot to pick up Hair color at the grocery store, damn it! Your's looks good though. :-)

I spent four hours in Italian class learning when to use and not use an article in front of words denoting family members, stopped by the pharmacy to discover it isn't open on Saturdays, and then ran into Ulta for a mud mask and a tube of mascara.
Now I'm back home where shortly I shall begin my laundry, shoot a challenge entry, and then try to get my Italian and Macroeconomics homework and reading done for next Saturday so that I can (a) go out to a friend of a friend's jazz band's CD release party downtown and (b) not worry about it during the week while my best friend/ex-boyfriend from Illinois is visiting. I can't do the homework or the photo tomorrow since I agreed to babysit my friend's two year old nephew for most of the day. Monday night is a possibility, but I'd like to devote it to cleaning the apartment since I have Econ class Tuesday night and Robbie arrives on Wednesday.
I wonder when my life is going to slow down again. Probably not until after Christmas.

I like that your ex-boyfriend is still a friend - that's pretty cool!
It won't slow down after Christmas, but it sounds like you're a pretty good time manager so that shouldn't be too much of a problem for you. |

I stayed up until 3:30am fixing my computer (started last night at 6:30 and didn't want to quit until it was working again). Then I got up 3 hours later to go to a soccer tournment, where I shot 3077 pictures. Now I gotta go through them all!!!

I woke up on this beautiful Sunday morning, here in Australia, and decided, today was going to be a good day.
I also plan to take a photo for the "Morning" challenge image today, as it is the last chance before rollover.
Not to sure how everyone will like it, but I do, so that's what matters.....
Peter has a full day playing bowls today, re another "Country Bowls Team", has come to our bowling rink, to play a friendly competition game of bowls.
They will be having a slap up lunch, provided by us all, before returning to play bowls again in the afternoon.
After the winners are announced, and a few celebraty drinks, they will be on there way home.
I am going to go down to take some photos later this afternoon, and will post some in my portfolio.

Five frames per second and an 8 hour day of shooting will do it to ya....
My all time high was 12 games in 12 hours of shooting averaging 600 pictures per game for a total of 7200 pictures. I'm a little more careful with what I shoot now, and I haven't had tournament go 12 hours since that one time.

Since I've been mostly away from home the last 3 weeks (1 week each in Chicoutimi, Toronto and Montreal), I did spend most of the day at the office catching up on work.
Got back home a few hours ago and now I'm just slowly sorting all the pictures I took lately and checking up on DPC. And this is what I'm planning to do for the rest of the evening... :)

He's a good guy. I've known him for thirteen years, since I was barely 18. We were friends for eight years before we ever hooked up, the relationship lasted less than a year, and that was half a decade ago now. We live several states apart now, but we still talk all the time. The official purpose of his visit is to check out CU Boulder's anthropology department (going for a masters next year), but really it's to visit me.
His girlfriend is less than thrilled by it, though. Ah well!

The wife took our houseguests to Vancouver for the day, so I had the day all to myself. Wahoo!
I could have gone out to shoot waterfalls with stdavidson and DrAchoo, but decided to stay home and work on some code instead. I managed to modify our communications service so that it listens on multiple comm ports simultaneously and accepts multiple incoming connections asynchronously while keeping track of multiple asynchronous send and receive operations for each socket individually in a thread-safe manner. Fun stuff!
Then I soaked in the Jacuzzi for a while and read my book.
That's pretty much it so far, just a nice, lazy day at home.
Becky's back now and dinner should be ready soon. I haven't eaten all day, so I'm hungry. Mmmmm burritos...
