I was looking a some profiles last night and noticed that the challenge and portfolio are seems to be aligned 'centered' making pictures random and unbalanced vertically when viewing.

Example 1:

I feel it would be a more pleasing view if they were aligned 'top'.

Example 2:

Do others feel it looks better aligned by top alignment? Is it worth the change? I think so.

Looking at the two examples side by side, the 'aligned' one is more pleasing to the eye.

Top looks good, but I'd need it to be for both rows.

SC, could you please move this thread to the proper forum area, " Web Site Suggestions". Sorry I put it in the wrong forum area.

yea, that was brought up yesterday. If you choose 5 and above per row it is showing one less than you choose. I guess a bug in coding right now. If you want 5 to show then choose 6 in your preference are.

I'd go as far as to say that this change would be useful site-wide, as all the rows of thumbs seem to be the same (Centre-aligned).

i don't know... i don't think i like it top aligned... makes the text underneath too disjointed...

maybe aligned across the bottom of the image would be better? then all the titles would line up across the page...

looking at the code, this would be a bit more work to pull off, though...

I agree.

If they were aligned at the bottom the the pictures would be all over the place again because the title and challenge names are different lengths. The only way to make the picture uniform is top alignment.

Anyone else have a though on this idea?

Moved to proper category.

I sort of like it the way it is. It looks so static aligned to the top. Aligned to the centre, as it is, even though it looks a bit topsy-turvey, it is more beautiful IMO.

Well then a solution to that would be to put the text above the photo and have everything top aligned. Although some of the more wordy titles would still make it a mess.
