I got myself a new camera last weekend which has inspired me to come out of lurking. :)
I'm really interested in improving my skills as a [very amateur] photographer--specifically in photographing dogs. I was wondering if anyone here did pet photography professionally and whether there is any sort of advice one could give for this sort of thing.
I guess I could begin by showing you these photos:

Welcome to the lighter side. :) I left a couple comments. I am not a pet photographer, or any kind of photographer for that matter, but I have learned plenty here and so will you.
