so for the past few years we have gone kinda overboard on the costumes for the kiddo. and some equally over the top pics to go with them.

Because I have been asked ...
This is a chromakey shot.
It was shot in studio on a green background and keyed out
The background is 3 images layered together
The ship is actually a black and white clip art tinted to the same value as the clouds.
The kiddo has a good deal of burn and dodge to pull element into the background and some edge manipulation so it dosen't look stuck on.
I am getting better at the keying thing ... I have felt confortable enough with it to use it with paying customers... but saddly I can't use it in challenges.
