It's a moth...I can't tell you the technical term as hubby is at work and he is the entamologist. But I can tell you we get them here...sometimes much bigger. They tend to freak the cats out a bit as they walk across the floor.

Thanks Judi :) My mother is arguing with me and insists it is a hummingbird...one without a beak! But that eye is no hummingbird's!
