Orphans and mentally handicapped kids went to a 'day-out' trip to a zoo just up the road from where I live and I was asked by my mom (editor of local newspaper) to snap a few pics for her.
Here are the results.
Comments most welcome :)

This would be my #1 choice by a large margin. I think you've done an excellent job of capturing the essence of the experience these children had during their visit to the zoo. The wonder, fascination, learning...
I like this one here also for the second choice if I was picking two.
Some very nice photos here Krige. Well done.

Doh! It's in my workshop folder.
If I move them all out to my porti, will the links change to the pics?
Thanks Barry! |

You can move them and the links will still be fine. Pretty sure anyway. ;^) |

LOL! Exploiting? Hell, these kids loved the camera. I had to run most of the time I was there! |

Very nice bunch of pics.
However, I'd think you'd want to include more photo's of the kids actually WITH animals in the shots; or at least show that they are AT the zoo, than just wherever. |

Sorry, I shouldve added. The one that is going to be published is a shot with the NPO (Non-profit organisation)that sponsored the day, standing amidst birds and the like with the kids in front of the building that says "ZOO" quite big.
:)
These were just candids during the day.

Just wanna thank everybody for the great comments I received and in true and typical "DPC changed my photography so much and it's because of people like you" fashion, I salute you.

You got some nice shots there, Guyver. But I got to laugh at this one being included in the category "orphans and mentally handicapped" :-)
I suppose if the tiger's mommy and daddy are dead...?
