Does anyone know how to reduce the bands that occur in blue skys in photoshop so the sky looks soother on bad monitors?

Select the sky using the 'magic wand'; hold down the shift key while selecting multiple zones, then use the 'smart blur' filter; radius 3, threshold 25. If banding is extreme you may have to increase the radius.

After selecting the entire sky, I copy and paste it. Then I use noise reduction on the new layer. It doesn't spread to the edges of the "not sky" stuff as bad. Also, by pasting into a second layer, you can go back and tweak areas that need tweaking.
