I have the pleasure of photographing Akuri, the beautiful wife of Lawrence Rhipser aka scared_of_the_dark .

We went to an abandoned/burnt building at around 10 am. The light was harsh but we didn't mind at all. Breaking through the chained gate, we went in along with Lawrence's dog, Ume. We clicked and clicked and clicked. Akuri obliged us with flawless poses and expressions.

You can see the complete gallery HERE .

Here are some samples:

In Colours:

In BW:

As you can see, i am experimenting in most of these shots. Surprisingly, I used my 12-24 lens quite extensively here.
Comments will be appreciated.

Shame on me once for looking at them.
Shame on me twice for looking at them again and wishing I could do as well.
Think I'm going to go shame thrice and look some more....

*shrugs and looks at my little camera turning red with envy*

Thanks Brad.

For those who haven't seen it yet, a shameless bump...

I am trying something a bit different. Let me know what you think about them.

Shaking my head in awe of your talent, I quietly bump. Amazing work!

I like #4 the best. That red scarf against the green textured background is phenomenal.

You used the 12-24 on all these thumbs? I have the 10-22 and I can't picture it ever working for shots like this.

Amazing work as always. I love the one with the teddy bear.

Nope....only the wide angle shots. The others are with 70-200 VR lens.
