Unless you're a paid member, you can only get hourly statistics, and those are in the menu bar along the left under the thumbnail of your entry.

You are not wrong. Yours has a good histogram signiture for a classic luminosity based high contrast image, but there is more to a good high contrast image than a histogram. Obviously, it needs to be a good picture and be sound in all other photographic aspects as well. It helps to be interesting and have solid technicals to.
This is a sad commentary on DPC voters, but 5.5 is considered a decent score by most DPCers.

Just saw a 1 as i hit the update button for the 17th time this hour. my new excuse this week is that some great photos need to be viewed at full size (its true!) and the voters can't appreciate how good my photo is at 640 pixels wide.

Speaking of this brand of camera, here are some things NOT to say to a police officer questioning you about taking pictures in sensitive locations:
"Really officer, all I want to do is take a few shots off this overpass before I drive away."
"Hold on officer, let me go get my Canon out of the car."
"Officer, may I shoot you before I go?"
For some crazy reason they don't react well to these statements no matter how polite you are.
