Challenge: Pinhole Challenge
Challenge Description: Submit a photo that conveys an infinite depth of field. |

I used to love pinhole photography. Once I used a lens mount cover to make a pinhole lens for my 35mm Minolta.
Haven't experimented with digital pinhole photography, but I'd love to and this seems like a great challenge.

| anybody ever tried digital pinhole? I heard you can do it by poking a hole in black paper and using that as your 'lense'. Im tempted to try it, but I smell a lotta sensor cleaning! |

Good idea, title would be confusing for some. I imagine a dozen entries with a hole in a piece of paper. :P. I wouls like this challenge too.
This is the same as hyperfocal distance, yes?
Is this a good example?

Yes and no... I'd vote higher for a very close subject with infinitely deep background than I would a landscape shot. It's easy to get deep DOF when objects are hundreds of yards, even miles away.
Now put something the size of a coke can close in the forground and still have focus deep behind it, that's something else :-)
