| I was once very pissed with an overly aggressive telemarketer (she calls me very often and refuse to accept that I'm just not interested!), so I tried to sell her my service instead. I told her, if you buy mine then I'll listen to hers. That sure stopped her! |

Many of those calls try to sell something for the house or the garden.
I sometimes tell those ones that I live in a tent, which usually gets me a nasty little snort and cackle, then they slam the phone down.
At least it gets rid of them quickly. |

If that's the guy I think it is, he has a whole CD (or several CDs) of these telemarketing calls. I don't recall the guy's name, naturally, but I've heard a bunch of these things he's done, and they're just hilarious. I wish I was that quick on my feet!
