Whats the chance some people on here give low votes, to give there own photos a better chance of winning?? I was just curious about what people thought about that. I noticed in some profiles ,people that were getting an average vote of between 5.6 to 6.2 were GIVING VOTES in a range of 3.0 to 4.6.... HOWEVER, I DO NOTICE A SELECT FEW THAT HAVE AVG VOTES OF THE SAME, so I dont want to make this sound like its everyone... Its just something I noticed about more than a few...

What do you guys think??

Probably a coincidence, there are a bunch of DPC "conspiracy theories", but I wouldn't take any of them too seriously. Low votes are generally offset by high ones as it is. There are algorithms in place that detect drastic voting changes and the like. Some people are more discerning than others as well, which could result in their choosing to give lower votes.

The admins watch for voting patterns so if anyone is consistenly voting super low, I'm sure they catch it. And with 200+ votes, I dno't think that one person's vote could sway the overall vote enough. I think some people just have different expectations/voting strategies than others.

Voting is totaly fair here, good pics get ribbons ,but there is always someone having fun by giving 1's and 2's to generally acceptable good photo work!

True. True. Its a good thing the admins watch for stuff like that.
I also agree with MK about the one vote thing. I feel the same way... Anyways.. thanks for the input guys.
