The S3 has dropped $25-$50 over the past 1.5 months. Did something better come out from Canon recently in the same price range?
Thanks if you have any ideas!

If you are referring to the Canon Powershot S3 IS, then that's probably a normal reduction in price. A year ago, I bought the Canon Powershot S2 IS at around $500. A year later the price of a new one dropped to $300 in many stores. That equates to about a $17 per month drop. Of course this was an average, the price dropped at a larger amount when the S3 was announced/released.
p.s. Once the price on the used camera market for my S2 approached my "minimum threshold", I quickly sold it on eBay, while I could still get a decent price for it. That's when I bought my Pentax K100D.

I didn't realize they dropped in price that quickly! I have been on the brink of buying the S3 since it came out..LOL I actually purchased it one time....and later found out the did not deliver to Guam. LOl
