I am trying to setup a form handler on my website. I want the results of the form sent to my email. When I layout the form and go to click ok it says I need to setup my email transport. So I go to the CD and read how to do it and it said it needed to be placed in my frontpage INI file.
This is the example that gave me.
SMTPHost=mail.example.microsoft.com
I know what should go everywhere except "example"
SMTPHost=mail.?????????.knology.net
I have tried my email address, my site name, my admin name all with no luck. Can anyone tell me what I need to do before I pull my hair out.
Thanks,
SDW

host name would be your SMTP server
SMTPHost=mail.knology.net (if that is the public DNS name of your server)

The only other thing I can think of is to look in your mail program and see what your SMTP is and use what's in there.

may want to call knology tech support, but many hosts don't allow web access to thier mail severs, mainly because of potential abuse by spammers.
