rested..
There is this photography shot on one of the "on demand" channels that comes free with my cable service. Its called "The whole picture" this blonde lady gives these classes on different tips and tricks on how to take better digital pictures. There are about 6 shows i havnt recorded all of them but i recorded the latest one and i was wondering if anyone was interested in watching it?
I think its about 80 megs in WMV video format. The show is about 35 minutes long but it has some good tips and tricks. The episode is called "shooting in low light" wich i thought would be good because everyone can have trouble in low light and it seems to be the most common problem for shooters.
So i was thinking, whats the best place to host it? yousend it? I tried to upload it to youtube but it must be to big or somthing, they wont allow it. Maybe because its a tv show?

I believe YouTube has a ten minute limit on videos also thier TOS says you must own the copyright to videos you upload.

.
The host is Erin Manning. She is a local photographer down here in Southern California. Visit her web site and her blog.
I used to watch her show every Sunday evening. It comes on earlier in the week, but I was always out. The show caters to beginners, IMHO, but I watch it anyway--I'm always open to learning something new. :-)
Edit: Adding a link to her show schedule.

I would agree. some stuff is very basic but I usually pick up a tip or two per show. |

In addition to watching the recordings (or in lieu of) you can read each of Erin's episodes here:

The file i have uploaded is the same file i have. It is ripped at 512K bits and its 80 megs or so.
If you want to host it on your site goahead. Just download it from the rapidshare and then put it on your server if you want go ahead. I recorded it to share so what ever you need to do so be it.
There are a few on youtube now, not the whole image shows but other photography videos. |

Anyone heard of something, oh a little thing, called copyright?
I hear whining here all the time when a DPC'r feels violated, but it seems there is little concern about violating other's rights.
You don't have permission to re-post or re-broadcast or distribute this show, do you?

Glad to see, I'm not the only one that was concerned about this.

I actually didn't notice that before. I would agree about the copyright. |
