I think there will be a spread from 1 to 10 on this on, and more evened out than normally ...
At least, it is not a record low for me anymore, so thumbs up for a 5+ !

I was at 5.9434 at 106 votes. Yesterday's average was about a 6.5. Today, it's a 5.3. I liked yesterday much better.

I have almost twice as many views as votes! And, the voters I do have seem happy on the fence. I guess my photo needs a better campaign manager. ::shrugs:: |

I don't understand why posts like this show up while a challenge is being voted on. It seems to me that it could help a voter that may have only commented on a few images figure out which image has been submitted by a specific photographer. I thought the Challenges were set up to preserve anonymity.
IMHO...It would be more fair if photographers would refrain from communicating with specific voters that have left a comment until AFTER the voting is closed. |

since my score is low , the number of votes is 100+ the actuall change one person may effect is .01 ish (or so) +or- .005 i didnt mention his comment (which mentions he gave a generous score to begin with) ... i strongly think that it is very unlikly that a person just writes one comment an evening so it would be unlikly that he would guess /
unless you base it onstyle / which would also be an error ....:P

Believe it or not, I still don't know what picture is his. I could find at least 5 that might have some pun I'm missing.
and besides, unless a commentor bagheads, he can be pm'd by a contestant. I, for one, never change my vote after such a contact (with the possible exception of answering a very specific question about the photo, but I don't think I've done even that as of yet).
as long as he doesn't give a clue that is accessible to all lookers-on, I think it's ok.

Talk about not getting comments.... not a great image but not a bad one... mine for rain is getting creamed, and I have many comments on that one...
So I would guess that abstract macros just don't inspire comments... |

Nah, comments depend a lot on the shot. Sometimes you make people laugh, or irritate them with your crummy shot and then you get a bunch. Sometimes you submit a shot that just doesn't seem to get people 'talking'. You never know.
