| Recently I feel like I have been quite literally losing my mind. Part of it is that I'm panicking about everything.... including the SPs that are supposed to be my happy fun stress-relieving thing. So I don't know what is going to happen. I might not be around for a while (not just the SPs but DPC overall) but I'm not sure. PMs and prayers are welcome. I will be keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers... you are a great bunch of people. |

Please go talk to someone, Kelly. Whether it's a licensed counselor, psychologist, or just a trusted friend.
That also goes for everyone else who has shared of their inner demons in this challenge. You don't have to go through anything alone. |

Day 25 - **Warning** Playing with oneself
Or actually Video Conferencing with oneself. I caught one w/o the TV scan lines but the expression wasn't as good. As you know to capture a TV screen and not get a scan bar you need a shutter < 1/40sec... It is a hit or miss deal.

Purchased light meter as per cindinator's recommendations, I am now on my way to becoming a real live piktshertakerperson. :)

Used it on yesterday's photo, it saved hordes of time :)

Day 25
Unfortunately for the focus, I had to use my extra tripod to hold the 100W spot 45 degrees to the front left of the pic. The 60W bucket/trashbag is 90 degrees on top of the dog kennel. So, I had to stretch between the camera and where I thought I'd be and try to get it to autofocus on my hand.

Day 25 - Bonus - "Lights are off but everyone is home"
Got the call early this morn that there was no power in the building...Every IT guys favorite call. Half a cup of coffee and a 5 minute shower and and next thing I know I was at work to wait around for the Electric people to show up. Seems one of the phases of the mains into the building went belly up causing all my 30A > stuff to no longer have power... In a nut shell all my servers, phoneswitch and voicemail down and a 100 users banging on my door (like I'm the electric co).
Anyways this one of the cabinets on my PBX with no lights... I did the head down thing to look tired, made it dark and really soft to represent early hours.
Duplicate to new layer
Darken + Gaussian (18) + Transparency 40% to top layer
Flatten
Done
The outage was one reason my VC SP was somewhat hurried as I was fussing with voicemail all afternoon as it didn't quite come up properly.
