I just did one of my first attempts at a senior photo shoot last night. Just thought I'd post a few of them to see if anyone had any comments/critiques, blah blah blah :)

The school's requirements for yearbook photos are rather restrictive, with no "objects" allowed, or trees, etc. Basically they only allow upper body shots with little else in the shot.

Thankfully, he's a great kid and is very comfortable in front of the camera! These were a few of my favorites.

nice shots alan...
I think I like #3 the best. The fence post may interfere with the allowed requirements? Any chance that is the school in the background?

#4's background is distracting. I love the background but I think it would be better if the subject was further away from it.

Nice shots...I'm going to work on some non-senior school portraits over the weekend. my first real attempt.

Thanks for the comments! #4 was also actually my favorite. I can envision it being turned into a Joey Lawrence Grunge shot. :)

I certainly wouldn't say that... just a different opinion! :)
