I am by no way associated with any coordinators of WPL - however, I would like to make sure that the rules are spelled out clearly and concisely and that all teams are listed and I didn't want to hijack the other WPL thread.

So, with that said, I will update this post with the addition of teams as they add themselves by responding in this thread so that everything is orgnanized.

I will also post the rules in this post as an update as soon as a coordinator of the WPL comes in here and posts the rules. That way, the rules, teams, and details will all be organized in this one post that everyone will be able to check up on.

Please post your team name and we will assume that you already have 7 members. And if a WPL coordinator could post the rules and details that would be awesome. I'll update this post twice a day.

This thread sounds conflicting/confusing. I thought

Southern Gentleman was basically the coordinator for WPL? I've expressed interest in WPL3 and Scott is collecting data for that now which I've PM'd him.

If we don't clog it with posts like "this is confusing" it will be fine. I don't see how two threads, one for discussion and one for organization is confusing. Almost everyone I talked to was confused about WPL because there was no organization and nobody knew anything about anything so this thread was born. Step aside, let people list their teams, and everything will work out fine.

Kevin - The confusing part is the double locations for information. Scott mentioned a process for gathering/listing teams for WPL3. I'm trying to figure out your association with WPL3. Are you and Scott working together on this?

BTW - Including half a page of quotes in your responses will most certainly "clog" up this thread. :P

Double locations for information? This thread is for final information - the other thread is for discussions. One is an info thread, one is a discussion thread. What is so confusing?

Wow, this thread is up and running at an early date, WPL2 is not even over yet. Team Nikon has not even discussed wether we will join or not and if the rules about the length of the tournament, subs or not it seems strange that teams would join up not knowing the terms.
